Quality Codes

Q1 – First Article Inspection:
First article inspection is required for one part from each manufacturing lot. Documentation of the first article must be provided with each shipment.
Q2 – Product Definition:
Items shall be free of any foreign objects, debris or containment (FOD) and supplier agrees to maintain a FOD prevention program. Vendor also agrees that they will maintain a Quality System in accordance with an ISO program.
Q3 – FAA 8130-3:
For parts with PMA, an FAA 8130-3 is required for each part executed in accordance with FAA Order 8130.21.
Q4 – Government Source Inspection:
Government source inspection is required.
Q5 – Right of Entry
In addition to Powerjet Parts, Inc. right of entry, the vendor agrees to right of entry for our customers, or regulatory agencies, to all facilities and records in the performance of this contract.
Q6 – Nonconforming Product
Vendors are required to notify Powerjet Parts, Inc. quality department of nonconforming product and to make proper arrangements for approval. Suppliers agree that they have a documented process to prevent acceptance and report information of unapproved or counterfeit parts into their Quality System.
Q7 – Process Definition
Vendor will notify Powerjet Parts, Inc. of changes to products, processes, suppliers and facilities. Suppliers will accept flow down of applicable requirements including customer requirements.

Vendor acknowledges that it and its employees are aware of their contribution to the product or service conformity and product safety. Vendor also acknowledges the importance of ethical behavior on its behalf.

Q8 – Record Retention
Powerjet Parts, Inc. requires all records to be retained for a minimum of ten years. After 10 years the records may be destroyed.
